In addition, the Power5 Pro produce negative ions, to replicate the atmosphere found in forests and near waterfalls. Best of all, they accomplish all this without producing ozone, a byproduct of some filtration systems that is officially classified as a toxic gas.

They include carbon filtration, plus an advanced system that physically breaks down organic pollutants without the use of chemicals or a source of light. The Power5 Pro produces negative ions in a process called clean ion generation. Other negative-ion technologies create ozone --- classified by the United States Environmental Protection Agency as a toxic gas. Power5 Pro clean ion generation does not produce ozone.
