I got involved in Nikken through my younger sister, Agnes Narcisso. She was a classical guitarist based in the United States. Agnes figured in a car accident that left her in so much agony that Western doctors decided to give her a lot of pain killers that made her sleep cycle go haywire. Her night became day and her day became night. I felt at that time that I had lost a sister.

  One day, Agnes called me and said, “Cecile, there’s a company that has literally given me my life back.” I wondered what my sister had gotten into, especially since she started talking about magnets.

  As a background, let me say that my husband is a doctor and, at that time, one of our daughters was finishing Physical Therapy. So we were skeptical.

  In 1997, Nikken opened shop here in the Philippines and my younger sister was among the balikbayans who came from the States to share the products of Nikken.

  I opened my house to them and we held the first Wellness Preview there. I had about 15 to 20 friends come over. My skepticism turned into belief because, before my very eyes, my friends who were hurting — in the knee, the elbow, the back — had some

Nikken product put on them and they felt better.

  I had been in rehab for more than 10 years before Nikken came to the Philippines because of a neck and back problem. In fact, even before Nikken came here, we had bought some Nikken products from the States for us to try. The products didn’t seem to work for me, so I discarded them. I had the pillow, the mattress, the wraps, the Magboy….Anyway, I realized that my condition was somewhat severe. It had been bringing me to therapy for hot packs, neck pulling, tense machine, massage, even paraffin treatment for my hands.

  My sister told me, “This is not magic, Cecile. It’s something that you have to use continuously.” Since I saw the result with my sister that she was not aching anymore, I decided to take her word for it. And I decided to use the products religiously. In my case, I saw the effect three to six months later. So, if you tried a Nikken product and it didn’t seem to work for you the first time, just stick with it.

  What’s so nice about the products that we are sharing with you are that they are non-invasive. And that’s exactly what my husband keeps on telling his patients. The products are non-invasive, they won’t do any harm to you. We know the earth is a giant magnet, so that using the products can help you with energy, with flexibility. In my case, it gave me a new life.

  My children also got involved in Nikken, and I’m surprised, even now my husband says, “It’s a family business.”

  My husband is now retired. He’s more open now in sharing this with his patients. But what he wants to share is the business opportunity. I think it’s because he saw what happened to me — a homemaker that became, I would say, a successful Nikken Wellness Consultant.

  Nikken has given me three cars. Most companies give you cars but the monthly installments are deducted from your paycheck.

  I have two paychecks from Nikken. On the 15th of the month, I get for the work that I did sharing Nikken. Some of the income is for work that I did two years, or seven years or eight years ago, when I shared Nikken with some people who continue to do the business. Some of it is for work that I have done recently, new distributors who I’ve brought into Nikken and are beginning to do the business.

  I also get a paycheck on the 20th of the month to help me pay for my car. I already have three Nikken cars — my Mitsubishi Spacegear, my Honda Civic VTI and my latest, a top-of-the-line Chevrolet Venture.

  I’m a mother of eight. My second child, Kyle, was diagnosed as being autistic when he was about three and a half years old. When Kyle was eight or nine years old, my husband Roy and I brought him to the US to see what doctors there could do for him.

  A doctor told us that from age two, Kyle had not been able to sleep well. His brain had mini seizures so he couldn’t rest well. Other than telling us to change his diet, there wasn’t much that the doctors could do for Kyle.

  Kyle was 10 years old when I learned about Nikken. So, from aged 2 to 10, he hadn’t slept well. You can imagine the effect of eight years of poor quality sleep on him.

  Kyle would sleep late, wake up in the middle of the night, play, talk by himself and then fall asleep when it was almost dawn. This cycle made him tired in the morning. It was hard for him to get up and go to school. In school, he would not pay attention in class and would not go near other people. He kept to himself and, when people spoke to him, he would not answer and would not even look at them.

  You can imagine the anguish we felt in behalf of our son and how powerless (it seemed) we were to help him. But God answers prayers.

  A friend, Coylee Gamboa, was aware of my son’s condition. She brought Kata Bellosillo to explain Nikken to us. Coylee was kind enough to lend us a Sleep System. We let Kyle use it.

  I was hopeful. The first week, Kyle would wake up groggy, as if he needed to sleep more. The second week, Kyle would wake up in the middle of the night, play by himself for a while and then fall asleep again. The third week, Kyle slept through the night, woke up early and got himself ready for school.

  I wanted to get a Nikken bed for Kyle, but we could not afford it then. So Coylee and I did a 21 Club. We presented Nikken products to friends and family members, and a number of them purchased Sleep Systems, insoles, wraps, magnets and a PiMag Water System. We made the requisite points and succeeded in our 21 Club effort.

  With my earnings from the 21 Club, I was able to afford a Sleep System for my son. Eventually, out of my earnings from offering Nikken to more people, I also purchased an Optimizer so that our other children could share in the benefits of whatever we could get of Nikken.

  Today, Kyle is a better-adjusted child. He is still autistic, but there is hope for even greater improvement because he communicates more with people. He answers when he is spoken to and he even initiates conversations with visitors to our home. He also does better with his school work.

  All the children are very active. They swim a lot. They’re into volleyball and taekwondo. Before that, it was soccer. I noticed that they’re a lot healthier today than they were before.
