I’m Conchita Maceda, former dean at the University of Sto. Tomas School of Nursing. Even when I was still working, I had been undergoing physical therapy because of the pain that I felt in the cervical and upper portion of the spinal column. Doctors diagnosed me as having spondylitis. I had traction, hot compress and massages. I would go regularly for these treatments. I would go three or four times a month, but less frequently when the pain subsided. After I retired, I would go only when I felt the pain.

  When we got involved in Nikken, first I used the Magboy and the Magbiens on the upper back, and I felt relieved. It was like magic. The pain over the cervical region and the shoulders was relieved. When I wake up in the morning, I would have headaches and cramps in my knees and my ankles. I’d put the Magbiens. After we began using the Sleep System, I did not feel those headaches and pain anymore. I felt relaxed and ready to do anything.

  Well, thank God, we are not really suffering from any chronic disease. We are not diabetic. We do not have cancer. It’s just the normal changes among the elderly. And we found all these products very effective.

I’m Rudy Maceda, a physician. My specialty is Pediatrics and Hospital Administration. I was formerly the medical center chief of Tondo Medical Center and General Hospital. I’ve been the foremost adviser to several Secretaries of Health. When I retired, I was appointed executive director of the Philippine Medicare for four years, then I became a consultant of the Philippine Health Commission.

  At first, as a physician, I could not easily believe in Nikken because we physicians always rely on studies and research, all of which are well documented. But what I saw, in our senior citizens association, when Tina invited Dr. Wenie Navarro to make a Nikken presentation, almost 80% of those present were suffering from arthritis. After using the Nikken products for a while, they said they were relieved of their pains.

  Back in 1970, I felt some numbness of my fingers. It was osteoarthritis. Over the years, I’ve occasionally taken anti-arthritic, anti-pain medications. I decided to try Nikken. My first subject in my body was my knee. I applied Magbiens. There was really instant relief. Another time, I had a frozen shoulder. I just placed Magbiens on every point where I felt the pain. And it seemed there was some miraculous effect — after 24 hours, there was no more pain or stiffness! I could move again!

  Until now, whenever I feel pain in my knees, I just put the Magbiens. For arthritis, the disturbing symptom is pain. Remove the pain and you forget the arthritis.

  I also use the Magsteps. In my office at Phil Health, I have to climb 26 steps because the parking area is in the second basement. I used to stop on every landing. But now, I can walk straight up. They were asking me, how come at nearly 79, I was still strong. Well, I tell them, there is something in my shoes and on my joints!

  I’m an orthopedic surgeon practicing at Manila South. I was introduced to Nikken on February 8, 2005. I was a skeptic because, as a man of science, I found it hard to believe in this. Plus the fact that conventional medicine has a long, long history of opposition to traditional medicine.

  It was out of desperation, in my search for something to help my spouse, a pediatrician, who had been suffering from chronic back pain for more than five years, that I turned to Nikken. My wife had a documented crenated disk.

  Somebody signed me up in Nikken and brought me these insoles. For two nights, my wife slept on it. I asked her, “On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being what the pain was before, what level is the pain now?” She said, “Three.”

  After that, I bought her the KenkoTherm Back Wrap and the Kenko Flex magnet, and these made a difference in her life. Then I got her the Sleep System. Oh, when was no longer in pain, there was a very nice change in her relationship with our children!

  As for myself, since I had purchased the insoles, I put them in my shoes. Previously, I had some statice on my lower leg. I’m not a diabetic, but there was some darkening of my skin in the lower leg. After using the insoles for 24 to 48 hours, I was surprised because there was some clearing up of the skin — conclusive, in my view, of an increase in blood circulation.

  So, I recommended Nikken to a patient of mine, a lay minister, who had been suffering from a back problem for several years. He had been advised to undergo surgery, a laminectomy, but he

refused per the advise of his physician son.

  Previously, when I looked at his MRI and examined him, I told him, “I’m of the same opinion sa your primary physician. You have to undergo surgery because you have lumbar spondylosis.” He was adamant in his refusal to have surgery, so I just advised him to go to the Los Baños hot springs because it might help. But, after going to Los Baños, his back pain would recur and was even more severe than before.

  After I learned about Nikken, I introduced it to him. To my surprise, it also made a lot of difference for him. He now uses the Magsteps, the Flex and the Back Wrap, and he’s serving the Church again!

  The other product that surprised me a lot was the Optimizer. I had a son who developed a severe allergy. His eyes were closed, his lips were thickened and he had rashes all over. My wife woke me up at 11:30 that night because she was afraid our son would develop laryngeal edema. I just said, “Give him Optimized water.” At 30- to 45-minute intervals, she gave him a glass of Optimized water. He drank a total of four glasses. At 3:30 in the morning, before her very eyes, the allergy receded. The next day, it was all gone!

  This compared favorably to the experience of our other child. She developed a severe allergy last year (before we started drinking Optimized water) and had to go on a strict Sprite-and-crackers diet. She was on Claritin and Prednisone, but the allergy persisted for four or five days.

  A good friend — a priest — was

confined in the ICCU of San Juan de Dios Hospital in late November 2004 because he was suffering from hyperglycemia. His blood sugar was 584; his creatinine rose to 5.6 (the upper normal is 1.5) because he was already developing naprapathy. He had two blood transfusions but he did not respond. Repeat readings showed that his hemoglobin and erythropoietin rose by 0.5, triglycerides were more than 200 and cholesterol was 200. Uric acid was 14.

  It was only when we gave him Optimized water in the second week of February 2005 that his recovery accelerated. His doctors were surprised. After a month of drinking Optimized water, his sugar was down to 2.2 from a high of 12.5 He was still being given an injection every 10 days to stimulate the bone marrow to produce red blood cells. That was stopped. Cholesterol, uric, triglycerides were all down to normal. His doctor was very surprised.

  The priest had also developed a big boil on his lower leg and it already affected the bone covering. The doctor did a debridement, which left a very, very deep wound. His recovery was helped by the KenkoWave. His surgeon was surprised that the granulation tissue grew so fast.

  Right now, the priest is able to travel all over the Philippines again and will soon be returning to Cebu where he said he will be recruiting for Nikken.

  Science cannot explain everything. But, in all these experiences, we are grateful — especially my family — if only for the improvements in us, the benefit we have experienced from Nikken. I cannot ask for more.
