I got to know about Nikken when we were in Australia in 2003. My husband has a scholarship grant and we brought our seven kids with us. In the middle of the year, I was already so stressed out doing everything for the kids and for my husband. I complained a lot about our life in Australia. My husband, stressed by the school work, the kids and my complaints, became masungit (cranky).
We were at that low point when I met this lady in the shop. She told me about Nikken, visited me and gave me a rollout. And she lent me a Sleep System and a pair of insoles.
When we started using the Sleep System, I noticed that my husband, who snored a lot, didn’t snore at all that first night. And from day one on Nikken, he started to be OK and was not masungit anymore because he was sleeping well.
I also began to feel that Nikken was working on me. I used to have a backache that never seemed to go away because, when I got up in the morning, my back would be hurting already. But I had to get up because I had to prepare breakfast and baon (snacks) for my husband and the five kids who were going to school. Before starting on their baon, I’d put a Magstep on my back. Then I prepared their sandwiches like an assembly line. When I was done, the pain in my back was also gone. To me it was like magic.
Nikken products, however, were not included in our budget. I needed to find another way to afford them. So, during our Filipino gatherings, I would tell my friends about the Nikken products. Although I had not yet signed up as a Wellness

Consultant, I sold to the Filipinos. Joy, the lady who introduced me to Nikken, gave me the retail profit. With the money I earned, I bought three pairs of Magsteps, a pillow and a Kenko seat, which my husband would use. One time, he drove 16 hours from Canberra to Brisbane and was still OK when we got there.
My husband believed that Nikken products work, but purchasing them was out of the question on his meager soldier’s pay. When we returned to the Philippines, I did not even have the P5,500 to sign up. But my husband’s brother who had visited us in Australia and borrowed my Magsteps, paid me US$100 for them. I used the money to register. I looked for the Nikken office and just walked in and signed up under Joy.
Because I’m from Zamboanga, I didn’t have a lot of friends in Manila. Most of the people I knew were from the military because my husband is an officer of the Philippine Marines. I didn’t know whom to sell to, so I got the numbers from my husband’s cell phone and made appointments. Believe it or not, in 30 days, I became a silver!
I was able to sell to one person — at retail — worth P400,000 of goods. With my profit, I paid the hefty miscellaneous fees of our children in school. (My husband is a medal of valor awardee so our kids get free tuition, but the fees add up.) I was also able to get Nikken products for the family.
Soon after our arrival from Australia, my husband gave his insoles to his brother who suffered from joint stiffness. My husband didn’t want to buy another pair because our budget was tight then. One day, in February, he went

jogging and fell. At 5.30 that morning, he came back and asked me to get some ice for his swollen ankle. I took it as an opportunity to test the Nikken products on him. I didn’t put ice. I placed a pair of insoles in his shoes and peppered his ankle with Magbiens before slipping the KenkoTherm Ankle Wrap on it.
Later that morning, we had his foot X-rayed. The doctor said that, because of broken ligaments, his foot would take two weeks to heal. My husband was told to immobilize his foot and take medicine for the pain.
That same day, we went up to Baguio for the silver jubilee celebration of the Philippine Military Academy (my husband was a silver jubilarian). Believe it or not, when we arrived in Baguio several hours later, his ankle was not swollen! He had no bruises! That happened on a Thursday. On Saturday, my husband was able to join the parade in review with the president. We attended two balls and he was able to dance with me. He couldn’t believe it!
We have six boys and a girl. We still have three small ones, aged 5, 6 and 7. Magnets are part of our first-aid kit already. The children know that, if they have wounds, they should wash their wounds in Optimized water. If they have bumps on the head, they should apply Magbiens on the Super Mini, and the bumps would disappear. It’s never too early to tell kids about what the magnets can do for them!
I’m so happy that Nikken came into our life. With all these magnets, I feel good. I feel great! Thank God, I didn’t have to wait until I got sick before I used these products.
